Marvin Tate

Marvin Tate is a poet, visual artist and the founder of the experimental soul/rock band d-settlement. Tate's new performance group is called Group Sex. His work has been published in various literary magazines and his work has been heard on National Public Radio and local and national television.

Tate has performed on HBO's Def Poetry Jam, with funkidellic's Bernie Worrell, Wilco, Isotope, Ken Nordine, Amiri Baraka, Malachi Thompson and the band Galatica.
